Overview
The Danknet Explorer is a web browser that attempts to revive the look and feel of old internet explorer (specifically around versions 6 and 7). It is a clone of Palemoon, which is in turn a fork of old firefox making Danknet Explorer firefox based not chrome based. Data Privacy is a primary concern of the Danknet Explorer, as with its parent Palemoon, however Danknet Explorer primarily seeks to bolster and support the creators and communities of the indie web.

Instructions
The Download Now button will begin downloading the installer. Once downloaded, run the installer. Follow the steps in the installer and when done you should be free to browse nostalgically!

Add-ons and Themes
Danknet Explorer currently supports add-ons and themes supported by Palemoon. Though, note, the new MSN button has been explicitly overridden since these themes do not support that button. Not all themes will integrate seamlessly, and not all add-ons are guaranteed to work. Click Here to check out the available add-ons.

The browser that this project is based off of. Palemoon keeps true to classic firefox and is a great browser with all of the modern bells and whistles.
VERY similar to Palemoon. In fact it was originally developed by the Palemoon team before it was killed in 2021 and revived by a different team in 2022. Danknet Explorer was original based on Basilisk before switching to Palemoon.
What's old is new. Escargot is a revival of the MSN Messenger catalog. This means both MSN messenger AND Windows Live Messenger work on the Escargot.chat servers. They patch out the dead server details with their new server details that work seamless with the apps.
